My daughter and I started attending in Toddlers and are now in Pre-3s and she is LOVING IT! Toddlers was the perfect transition for her to become accustomed to spending time away from mama, and now she hardly acknowledges me when I say bye-bye…she’s already kicked her shoes off and is playing with her friends! Even more rewarding though is the time I get to spend with her and the other littles in class, helping them learn how to navigate relationships and interactions with each other and grow in their social/emotional skills. While they are learning these skills, I am learning so many tools to parent my own child more effectively and work with her as a team. Our parent education meetings are indispensable now to my life as a parent and I couldn’t imagine a world where I don’t have the opportunity to pick our educator’s brain about this week’s new challenge. It will be an easy decision to come back next year. Involve your family in co-op at Sandhurst; you won’t regret it!
